good to hear ya feeling better randy wade!
man i tell ya I need to get out and start some sort of running routine, and quit smoking. I played some ball over the winter, that first time I thought i was gonna die. And I've always eaten whatever I've wanted, and it's startin to catch up to me at 31.

New style of boat anchor. Cat River Anchors is the company name. Reviews said they will stick any bottom. Plus they say you can't lose them.

Sean, I can tell ya a funny story about the same situation one night on a lake when one of my Abu Garcia 10000 reels on a St. Croix Classic Cat rod decided to engage after a big hit in a bankholder that sent it sailing in the lake at 1am. I seen that rod go like a bottle rocket shot out across the bank into the water! Guess from what I hear, I was a torpedo following! LOL.. rollo

Seems like things are alittle slow getting going. One weekend its in the upper sixties... Then back into the low 40's. Hopefully it won't be long. Seems like your right though Sean, usually you guys are about a month a head of us, esp. the growing season. rollo

Its amazing just how much crap a man can put in boat in a garage in the winter. Most of it isn't even related to fishing stuff. The other day when it warmed up I thought I would tidy up a bit and get some gear in order.Damm, what a mess I found. My crossbow and all the trimmings,my rabitt hunting coat, shells, spare boots, some work clothes(I'm retired-must have been for something else)Empty corn sacks from the mill from feeding deer and birds, also some Christmas lights and other decorations.I don't know what in the hell the snow shovel doing in there.I even found the hammer I had been looking for.
You know-I have feeling I might not be the only one who found a boat full of stuff that just don't belong in our summer pleasure flotation device.Good fishing and be safe.

Whata ya say Kipster.I'm taking it easy-waiting for the Crappie bite to take off.Been doing a little to my boat.I needed a new post for one of my seats, also trying to find rod holders to fit ..My gunnel is real narrow an I didn't really want to mount them on sides but I may have to anyway.I had a good deer season-killed a real good 8 in W.Va.Not a trophy for Ohio but a good one there.Ohio was ok too.We will hit the water this spring.Hopefully we will have a good fishing spring with good water.Last couple of years have been pretty lean.I didn't hit it as hard as usual so I'm going to blame my new hip and knee. That did slow me down but I used it more for an excuse.I just wasn't as fired up as usual.Skip and I fished a tourney at Dillon -Jason 454s Ironman. We finished 2nd.I think we probably covered the field with numbers-we caught over 100-but we just didn't get the big bite-it was fun but it wore this ol man about out.I haven't been on the site for awhile.I'll try to keep up a little better-seems its doing real good.
