I have caught a few out of the tusc on small sunfish. I can usually tell i got one because for some reason one of our spots they always run upstream as soon as they hit

i have fished several local spillways for saugeye. this year i am going to try the carolina rig with a floating jig head. may tip the jig with a worm or minnow but right now i am just throwing grubs. never caught one out of the local spillways when trying.

I've seen some big Flatheads taken out of Dillon Spillway before. I usually castnet a few when throwing for bait (Saugeyes) nothing big though.

It's a been a few years since I have fished it though. You will know if they are running because you will have plenty of fellow fishermen there.
