yea i was real happy for him, i think it might be a few lbs bigger than 48, but hard to say. he caught it on a late 60s early 70s model mitchell spinning combo that he takes every time we go and no matter what he has that rod out with a good bait on it. it was his first rod and reel and his new pb. so he was pumped.
