Never had any success with bullheads in lakes. When using bullheads in lakes with a bottom rig, the bullhead hides itself in the mud from predators because the bullhead gets lazy because there is no current. So there is no action. But using a bullhead on a float rig might be a different story. I don't know. That is something that I would have to try out. In rivers the bullhead has to stay swimming because of the current. So it has plenty of action. And I know flatheads like a lively bait.

Well heres my tank. Its a 100 gallon tank. I use a Rena Star 3 stage filter system. I also use 3 big air stones. I keep bait in it all year around sometimes. I don't feed my bait because they never are in the tank long because I fish every weekend. I usually have gills and goldfish in it. The key to having a good bait tank is air, filter, and don't over crowd the thing. Believe it or not in the spring, I fill it up with city water. I just put in a water conditioner and run it for a couple of days before I put bait in it. The water stays clean all summer long. I have around $300.00 in this setup. I have used this for about 3 years now with no problems. CC Attachments:

Brock, you know buddy, its much easier to drag baits with the front of the boat going forward. Nice fish! CC
