Thanks Sean,yes reading can open many doors and stimulate the mind. When it comes to catfishing or fishing in general works by Doug Stange and the rest of the In-Fisherman crew is hard to beat. I also believe reading the pointers and tips offered by fishing veterans on forums such as this forum that Kip has put together hold great value as well.

Let's discuss our choice of catfish line. I prefer Berkley big game 40lb. Mono (green or solar), and I also like Mason big cat 63lb. Braid. What do you like?

I tried cut bait several times last year on the Muskingum (shad and gills) not one flathead, turtles and channels always seem to get there first. Any suggestions?

Kip that channel took a live 6" goldfish and yes the fight was on, them big channels go totally crazy when hooked.
