Don't lose that big fish because of poor tackle.

Everyone likes to see big fish. Does your Conservation Dept. have stocking programs? Muskies in holding tanks waiting to be stripped.

Walleye egg collection (stripping) and tagging. Fish stocking program is very effective.

The containers tend to leak and they have changed to a squat screw lid jar now.

Use either Cherry or Strawberry jello to make this good Carp doughball.

You're welcome SmoothKip. It's my go to knot for anything I can get through the loop. Next to that is the improved clinch or the trilene knot.

One of the Catfishermen told me he ran up on a Y-branch in the river and it hung him up after he took off the lower unit and it cost him $1,200. Ouch!!!http://catfishfreaks.proboards.com/post/new/1685

You're welcome MT. The new headlamp LED's have a red lens on them and I want to give it a try. They may be too bright.

Crawlers in Milk for Catfish. Soak for about 8-10 hours at room temp. and use them cause they'll go bad fast.

You have to use this the very next day or they get soft but it works great. Just put em in a jar at room temp over night with a little milk on them. Just enough to coat em.

Wing Dam Danger: Learn how to read water. Sometimes the surface changes are easy to see and other times less so. If in doubt slow down and use your depth finder until you are familiar with the area.
