Awesome! Can't really find many deals on pontoons round here. I'd scoop one up if I had the chance.
Can't wait to see how it looks finished off.

Awesome vid! Wish I could do stuff like that.
I am also a bowhunter. I hunt black bears and whitetails. Skipping the black bear hut this spring is killin me

No roll. I used to call it a tomstone or coffin style

It seems the style of sinker I like isn't very popular. Guess that for another thread though.
3 is about the heaviest you can buy here. Smaller are easier to find. I want heavier so I can fish when/where others can't.

The amount. I was getting lots of zinc and iron mixed in. Quality was good until the last cast.... found som crud and the lead crystalized.... not sure if its worth it to resmelt it.

I don't know anyone who molds lead, even on the local fishing forum. I have been doing lots of research and also watching plenty of good and bad vids on youtube. I smelted my first batch a couple of days ago. It didn't yeild what I thought it would. My biggest problem is finding the mold right now.

Thats awesome! Thanks again. Reading it right now.
Do I want to keep the tin and antimony out of the lead for my castings or keep it in? Will I not lose some of the tin and antimony if I skim the steel tire clips off before I flux?

The best knot is always the one a person can tie the best. However, considering the Cajun's apparent liking of the polamer knot, and the ease and quickness of tying it, you might want to give it a try, and compare the results to your'e current leaders. The Cajun line may prefer a knot that doesn't have many wraps, like the Ande I use. It's one of the 2 lines that had a better break strength than the Cajun using the polamer. Will try that out. I am pleased with your review on the line tho. I have had to change knots with certain lines, some are just more particular than others. I also saw that the bottom dwellers have 1/4 spools of several lines. I could get it shipped to my door cheaper than buying locally.... looking at a no roll do it sinker mould as well. Hooks, I am sitting on 400 6/0 octopus hooks and have 200 octo-circles in 9/0 on the way

Uni-snell on the hook end and a rapala knot at the swivel end. Octopus or octo-circles

Awesome thanks for the info. I'm still gonna try 17lbs for my mainline on a spare spool. That makes 4 1/4pound spool I have to order this year. Along with a mold for my weights.
Good to hear the cajun line will work for leaders
