Dave at Bottom Dwellers used to be my go to vendor for Catfishing supplies, however since he had Website issues a year or so ago, his prices are no longer the best on items I buy. He seems to have a lot of stocking issues with rods and reels now as well. It’s a shame, I had dealt with David for years. Anymore I look at Catfish Connection for a lot of specific needs.

I did, I liked the white 7’6” MH nightstick, I ended up using it as a dedicated rod for my Deeper sonar. The black orange MCPs just seem a bit more sensitive to me, but the eyelets on the white nightstick are stouter

Summer is winding down and it always seems I end up with more gear then I can store without drawing the attention of my wife. All of the rods and reels are located in the Mount Vernon area. I travel throughout central Ohio for my job and I am happy to work out a FtF deal.

When fishing for Shovelhead, I watch how much light I use, glow sticks on my rod tips, led headlamp... When fishing strictly for channels does it really matter? I am going to be switching lakes and fishing for channels for a while, my Coleman propane lantern is looking dusty and neglected over in the corner. Is it ok to break it out for mid summer Channel cats?
EDIT: I should have engaged search before padding my post count. Katfish had a interesting post about lanterns not affecting Channels at all.. guess I need to find a package of spare mantels and dust off the ol' Coleman
