Nice ride man. Like Kip said, Id rather be on the water with many options in a day or nights time, then setup on just one location. Nothing wrong with setting up on a bank spot at all. And we use the boat to get to many bank locations to setup. But, having the access to move at a moments notice is where its at... rollo

I run Big Game mono 40 and 50 pound test for most situations fishing the rivers. On my other setups for lake fishing I am running Power Pro 65lb. and Fireline 65lb. tracer braid. I prefer the castability braid offers with lower stretch on the lakes, but prefer mono over braid on the rivers when dealing with alot more structure. And to be honest, alittle bit of stretch that monofilament lines offer when dealing with heavy structure, isn't a bad thing! rollo

Got my Omotos ! Very impressed with them already and haven't even been on the water yet! They do resemble the Garcia 7000 series. Made very durable, and a sound loud bait clicker for hard hearing people like myself! LOL I recommend this reel to everyone! rollo

I started a thread a few years back on another forum which went well . So, lets get this one fired up! This is basic. If you have a question pertaining to flathead catfish feel free to ask! Others can chime in to give their knowledge. Or if you simply want to give some pointers feel free to add them as well!..... rollo

We have had some questions about "Karma". Karma has been a ranking system setup by the internet server. After discussing the issue, we have decided to remove the Karma button from this site. Unlike other sites, that have options for hitting a ThankYou button, or Reputation..aka.. ( Karma) button for posts made. We feel its very important for everyone to feel appreciated here. Whether you are here to help others, or a beginner wanting to learn. A number below your avatar should not make you hesitant on posting, or asking another a question. We strive to have all our members participate here, and feel equally welcomed!
