I have fished Charles Mill a few times have a friend who's parents live on the lake. I have never caught a blue out of there nor have they . I guess someone could have put some in there but if he claims he is catching them all the time it seems unlikely that someone put just a few in . And I have not herd of DNR putting any in there . Did talk to a lady from DNR that said they are thinking about stocking Seneca and Tappan with blues. But she said that it is just talk right now no set date . Lol had to go and ruin that guys day he thought he was catching 20# blues .

I have used fluoro leaders on most my fishing and all my braid setups. Why I like fluoro is that it is abrasion resistance ,low stretch and good knot strength. I know less knots the better but when I fish braid I feel that the benefits of having the fluoro leader out way the extra knot ..witch with fluoro I have never had a knot fail me yet. And when setting the hook at long distance I prefer not to have the stretch of a mono leader. If you like to have the stretch then mono is a better option .

If I get lucky enough to get 1 to bite I sure will .. I have been wanting to try a low profile for catfishing . Seems like a lot of reel manufactures are starting to make low profile reels with more line capacity and more drag stopping power . And now that some them are starting to add clickers to them also. I think that more catfish guys are going to start using them that like to fish with 400 or 6500 size reels. Now can these reels hold up like a 400 or a 6500 time will tell .
