For the last few days I have been watching fishing videos on youtube, primarily cat-fishing and carp-fishing videos. Looking for any bits of knowledge, tactics, rigs, etc. that I haven't already used. It always starts the same, I find a video that I like and then I start to click on the suggested videos. It always amazes me to see where I end up after an hour or so. Last week I ended up watching videos on rednecks shooting up cars.....no big deal. I also ended up watching jackass 3.5, it was funny in the "I cant believe they do that" kinda way. It helped pass time, but it was not my intention to watch.
This week I ended up on the whole other side of the internet, literally. Monday I watched a documentary on cocaine and its effects on the brain, interesting but disturbing that I even watched it in the first place. Last night had to be by far the weirdest videos/ collections of videos I have ever seen. It was like 2 hours of explaining the "Illuminati in the Media", it used references from The Matrix, The Lion King, Final Fantasy 7 (video game), The Holy Bible, News clips, etc. to explain the Illuminati. This stuff literally blew my mind. I mean I have heard of the "secret societies" but I never knew that so many people could draw connections between the media and said societies.
Does anyone have any opinions on the Illuminati or other conspiracies? Do you believe it or not? I'm not a conspirator in any means, and I honestly don't know what to believe. The normal part of me wants to dismiss it, but there's another part of me that wants to ask questions. If that makes sense. Kinda weird, I know.....and a weird place for this conversation, but I figured that we share many values here at catfishfreaks...so why not share a few thoughts.

Wow...............I don't know whether to laugh, or start wiping my computer. Lol.
Some of this stuff is DEEP. The illuminati theory covers both topics of the Nights Templar, and the 9/11 conspiracy. Still doing research on the topic. Scary stuff for sure.
Better not speak out:
MLK jr., Malcom X, Kennedys , Tupac, etc.

My degree is in ancient history so we studied this throughout. The knights templar and the Illuminati were very real very secretive groups. the "building blocks" for the free masons essentially all 3 interrelate. there is a book "Born in Blood" if you are interested that dives a bit deeper. long story short the groups are real, what they actually did is the mystery.
The knights templar was a group of mercenaries originally hired by the catholic church to rebuild solomons temple and protect the ark of the covenant.
the story goes that the vatican secrets they learned there made them a threat so there was a crusade to erradicate the knights. so they went into hiding as a secret society and wanted only the most intelligent members so that the would be trust worthy and smart enough to realize the dangers. Eventually becoming the Illuminati and being opposed to the catholic church for what they had done to them. The group split due to the more violent, militant intent of the Illuminati and the freemasons, who were already an exisisting secret society got a few new members and became much more powerful. Thats where Galileo, davinci and some of the other more notable names start coming in. And the rest, so they say, is history. Or not since basically only the members know what really was going on.

Thanks for the info Jordan. It's good to get a little info from someone I know and not some guy living in a fall out shelter in his parents backyard. Lol.
After even further research this "Illuminati" conspiracy theory covers tons of other conspiracy theories....such as population control (Vaccines to sterilize the masses. H1N1, Avian Flu...Shit), Extraterrestrial races (reptilians and aliens), zombies, etc. I guess the main thing is that this secret society will stop at nothing to control the world, "control through chaos" is one of their motto. So they just need to wipe us all out, and make zombies out of the remaining few and bam world dominance.
Of course its not that simple since I have spent countless hours reading since my last post. It's an interesting concept I guess.
Oh and I just found out that Jesse Ventura does a show on conspiracy theories....any watchers out there?

there is a sect of people numbers are staggeringly large actually that are, have or will prepare and train for a zombie apocalypse. the history channel or national geographic one of them is recording it as a documentary and a new series to air at a later date. they truly believe that there will be a zombie apocalypse in the future. it is a lot more people than you would think. i guess people just need something to believe in.
many of them probably are the guys in fallout shelters in moms backyard lol

Like some of you. I've researched some of these same subjects. For me, it all started when I thought I was going to be watching the movie Casino Royal. But uploaded in it's place was a documentary called "Loose Change." I've also seen all of Jesse Ventura shows. Kind of wakes you up to what is going on in this crazy world. Also have seen just about all the Alex Jones documetaries. Infowars.com

Oh geesh I forgot about the loose change video! I haven't seen that in years and its actually kinda creepy to realize how much of it seems completely logical! Some good info in here and wow I didn't realize that was your major Jordan! I'm impressed and envious! I always wanted that or a similar degree...anyone pay any attention in the 9/11 videos about the properties of steel and when it becomes to weak to support weight? I mean loose change had many good points in comparing steels melting point versus temperature at which jet fuel burns. If not you guys defidently should check it out soon...

Most people think conspiracy theorists are a very small percentage of the population but I just looked it up out of curiosity and 36% of Americans think either the government had a role in 9/11 or knew about it and did nothing to prevent it...that quite a bit more than I would've thought. I'm not saying my opinion either way on the subject especially on a site anyone could visit Lol but am saying its quite interesting to read on and I would certainly hope our gov't would stoop to that level just to enter Afghanistan and Iraq...
