my cousin decided to come out for a bit and he was glad he did! we only had 3 lines dropped when the first reel started screaming, sounded like a channel cat but more of a steady pace, never heard a flathead run as fast as this one, i was out in the middle of the lake dropping more lines when it went off, dakota dropped the poles and ran down to the rod, set into it and yelled good fish, i motored the boat back to the bank and could tell it was a decent fish, i guess he decided to skip the 40lb club and go strait to 50, his pb was 35 now its 51.5 couldnt be more happier for him.   |

Thats a hawg.......they still bitin early out there different lake bassmassey, its hard to get a fish that size out of the lake Ur talking about, I fish 4 or 5 different lakes, but yes that fish was caught at around 6:00 |

ducky are you guys running into turtles at all on the lake. we have been having a hell of a time keepin em off our baits which i havent really run into on our spot before

Turtles have yet to be a proplem for me, biggie had a bad case of em a week or so ago but only one nite after that he hasn't had a proplem anymore.

Haha, she was there, but she was in the boat with me holding the lines while I controlled the boat, she had a hard enough time with that 38 she caught, Id hate to see her fight a fish literally half her body weight!
