I saw this guy all through early bow and kept passing on him because I didnt want to waste my buck tag. we have a couple monsters and one in particular I have been after for about 2 years now. But we knew we needed to get this guy out of there either way so I decided if I hadnt filled it when late bow came back in I would pop him. So I havent been seeing the buck I wanted so A couple weeks ago this one came back and I took him. Disappointing that the one I wanted may be hanging on someone elses wall as he has dissapeared. This guy was a healthy deer with a big body that filled the freezer so for that i am grateful. he was a ugly 4, with 3 on the left and a crazy looking spike on the right  |

I had a class in college where we discussed how much you save by eating locally grown and harvested foods. Just think about it, your not paying for shipping it across country, refriderating it until gets to the store, refridgerate it while it sits on the shelf.....on and on. Even if its not money you save, you lessen the emissions from the trucks that get less than 10 mile to the gallon, lessen the demand on electricity, and so on.oh and you dont have to eat all those steroids and preservatives. Lol.
Conrats. I'm glad to see there are still are a few real hunters out there, and not just rack hunters. Congrats again.

thanks sean and yea we are definitely meat hunters saves us crazy amounts of money a couple deer means buying no beef for a year. and we do all our own processing so the only money is arrows and tags
all wall hanger never hurts though lol
