Whata ya say Kipster.I'm taking it easy-waiting for the Crappie bite to take off.Been doing a little to my boat.I needed a new post for one of my seats, also trying to find rod holders to fit ..My gunnel is real narrow an I didn't really want to mount them on sides but I may have to anyway.I had a good deer season-killed a real good 8 in W.Va.Not a trophy for Ohio but a good one there.Ohio was ok too.We will hit the water this spring.Hopefully we will have a good fishing spring with good water.Last couple of years have been pretty lean.I didn't hit it as hard as usual so I'm going to blame my new hip and knee. That did slow me down but I used it more for an excuse.I just wasn't as fired up as usual.Skip and I fished a tourney at Dillon -Jason 454s Ironman. We finished 2nd.I think we probably covered the field with numbers-we caught over 100-but we just didn't get the big bite-it was fun but it wore this ol man about out.I haven't been on the site for awhile.I'll try to keep up a little better-seems its doing real good. Glad to hear your getting along good and looking forward to BSing again. Were having a breakfast this coming up Sunday at the Golden Corral in Zanesville that you should come to. A handful of members will be there and is always a good time. Im real happy with the way this site has turned out. When I started it I had no idea it would grow so large. Is cool though and Ive met a lot of cool people and some great fisherman.

The ohio rivers blown out. The river was slightly up and then we got 5 inches of snow one day and an inch of rain in 2 hours the next. Wont be fishable for a little while. Our pool is 5 foot high.....thats tree floating levels on the ohio. Lol It should be good in a couple days assuming we dont get more.

Dang....that might put a damper on that idea....
Could I ask y'all to keep an eye out for a 40, 50, or 60 HP mercury tiller w/ a prop. Late 90's or early 2000's. I wanna get one but they seem hard to find without a complete package. I'm not in no real Hurry but if I come across one I am for sure interested.

Well I got cold footed and decided not to make the drive to look at the motor. Not sure why other than I don't wanna get in a big hurry as I gotta good fish in boat right now ready to fire. If it came down to not being able to fish it would be a different story. I do appreciate the heads up though.

I hear ya Aaron, I gotta still get a part and new battery for mine soon. Been putting it off waiting to get back to work to get that money flowing in first. Way I see it, Kip has a good ride, and to be honest... I think I'd enjoy a break from being Capt. All the time on my boat also. Nice to kick back with friends and fish without added stress all the time. rollo
