Have you all had enough of Ole Man Winter yet? I know I have! I usually get the boat on the winter water at least once a month to fish for deep water channel cats, or simply to scout things out. This winter has been brutal! On a good note... I believe this weather will bring an awesome spring, and overall good fishing season in Ohio for flatheads and channel cats. They will be looking to build that protein back up early, as soon as water temperatures allow them to become active!!!! Your opinions? rollo

Definitly rollo. It's really hard to tell what spring will have to offer. It may take a little longer for waters to warm up with as cold as it's been. or it could come early with the colder water causing them to burn up extra body fat just to stay warm. But come early spring it usually only takes a good two day warm rain to heat that water up quick. the lakes up this way are all drained waiting for thaw. so those early rains replenish the waters with all fresh warm water and turns that bite on quick. but thats up this way. Either way I'll be out there as soon as possible figuring it out.

Good deal, I got the yellow....been using green envy ande. I wanna get a black light and do away with glow sticks...anybody know a good blacklight that plugs into a 12v plug...or alligator clips would be fine.
