Ordered my kayak today. Walmart.com $297 after tax. It's only a 10 footer but it will work for my first one. I'm so excited right now. I don't know if i'll be able to wait for it to come in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its nice. Planning on heading down the river this weekend. I haven't had it out fishing yet. I took it to a pond and did some paddling around and tipped it quite a few times just so I knew its limits. Getting back in was a little rough but I was to if it becomes necessary. I was able to stand up in it pretty easy and still be stable. I used to be a surfer so that probably helped alot. I have a particular spot I want to hit. I just hope it dont rain too hard.

Dang that's a nice yak there Scott, bet ya have some awesome times on it, my first 8ft yak I flipped in it a lot if ya weren't careful but the new one is a lot more stable, can even stand n cast off it, im in the process of adding a xtra fishfinder I had, I use it for running baits and being able to see the structure before dropping will be great, also have plans for a multiple night trip on the Colo. river, cant wait for that...few pics........

I do like like the tank you have in the middle. I've never used a kayak for fishing before. I wanted to start with the cheapest I could find that was already setup for fishing. Then I can learn what all i can use and not need and get something more suited to my style of fishing down the road. I'm sure my next one down the road will be a lot bigger and better, but for a beginner on a yak it will do the job. And from I've seen they never really lose value. at least not around here.
