Still haven't got to test the king kahles for myself. Lines sat out for about 4 hours last night and nothing touched them. Try again tomorrow! Gonna try and fish for carp before dark. Any suggestions?

When targeting carp, use small hooks. Like a no.6 or even a no.8. They can be very hook shy. A lot of guys use dough balls. I always done best with a glob of night crawler. If the current is not bad get a can of corn and chum the area, seems to help a lot. A few pieces of corn on a hook is good also if your chuming with corn. Also light line is a good idea. I like using 8lb when carp fishin.

do you fish bottom for carp? I've never done it before

Once in awhile u can catch carp on floats, but yes bottom rig is goin to be your best bet. Just a simple Carolina rig is all ya need.

do I put the clicker on or use a small circle hook with the reel in the holder for carp with a slip sinker rig? Thanks by the way

I'm having better luck this year with Kahles for flatheads. Lost a couple giants on the double actions this year. Switched to Kahles and we have 100% hook up rate since.
