I hope everyone and their families are safe & healthy. The shad run 2020 is heating up and we had a fun weekend fishing for them last week - should be even better this weekend. We go through the rig/setup and how to fish for them! These hickory shad are STRONG fighters and fun to catch!
But I gotta say my favorite thing about them is that they are awesome catfish bait! I usually stock up on them so I have them throughout the summer. A chunk of shad on a circle hook is deadly for blue cats and even flatheads!
