I've never tried shrimp but people say it is dynamite and cut gills is really good channel bait too.

i fished the mohawk dam over the weekend and tore up the channel cats with some cut sucker. caught about 10 channel cats weighting about 5-8lbs we did catch a nice 13lb channel that looked like he got jumped by a herd of pirhana, he was missing half his tail and had 2 big chunks out of his back. anyway the cut sucker has bn working good the last 2weekends

We use shrimp down at a warm water discharge. Water temp reaches well over 100 degrees at points in the summer, so it cooks the shrimp. The aroma is pretty strong, probably why it works so well.

Ok thanks guys Bob i would say a herd of snapping turtles got a hold of him in the lake and ran him out the spillway haha

Fav. cut bait......hole big shad with tail cut off hooked through the eye's on a 7/0 kahle under a float in the spring time
