Is it just me or are they gettin smaller and smaller? 4-5 years ago they were like 100 pages. Now theyre like 60 and half of those pages are ads  |

yea alot smaller. i am actually disappointed with this years honestly.
ad space is crazy in them every other page is either all ads or a full page ad

j/k........most catfish books/ magazines seem really redundant to me anyway...........every now and then you can find a cool article about a certain body of water you may be interested though.....i had a subscription to catfish gold few years back until they went out of business....still got every issue, full of ads and repeat information, and some good catfish porn pics............they did always have a luke clayton article that was usually pretty good though.....

There is only so many ways to say the same thing and, they have run out of Ideas. The only way they can keep going is to put stories of catfishing trips in it. As for Luke Clayton, he is a good writer but, who wants to open up a catfishing magazine and read about a wild boar hunt or, a canned deer hunt in arkasas. I don't!!! I want a catfishing story!!!

yeah you're right JW, alot of his stories had nothing to do about catfishin'.........but alot of his stories made you feel like you were there..

This year's Insider is definitely a disappointment. It has the least amount of info i've seen in one and what IS there is pretty much regurgitated from previous articles. Just seems like they don't really care much about Catfishing (as opposed to Bass,Muskie etc). It's always been like that to a degree but it's getting worse with each year/issue. They didn't even bother getting this year's issue out until like two months later than they usually do.

know last year's in sider catfish i really liked the cat packing artical they did it was a good one to read and some good info, sure hope next year's issue is better than this year's
