Alot of nice catches! Congrats. 45. That's a heck of a day! We get into channels like that over here at Tappan lake. Tons of numbers just not much size.

It sure is fun when their bitting like that. I noticed that you called one of your fish a perch. We call those fish freshwater drum, oddly enough your not the first person I have heard call them that. I wonder if its a location thing? Kinda like bream, sunfish, and bluegill.

I know ive heard some people eat perch also? ... Around here we dont... Do use it for cut bait... I never have tho... I think we have another name for sunfish also... Dont really know ... We also call channel cats ...yellow bellys... lol

Yellow bellies usually refer to yellow bullheads to some, or bullheads in general here. They seem to be a favorite flathead bait of the river guys.
