After another hour of searching I found a website that gives me every detail of every day for the past year. www.wunderground.com This is exactly what I'm looking for. It has pressure, wind direction, wind speed, exact temperature, etc. I'll have to add a column or two to the fishing log and compare pressure and what not. I'll make a few posts later.....it's gonna take a while to add all of the data for all of the trips. Thanks Jordan.

OK so after a few hours this is what I came up with: Barometric Pressure Vs. Points Per Hour: Relative Humidity Vs. Points Per Hour: Wind Speed Vs. Points per Hour: I'd like to hear your opinions on the comparisons, and any ideas to better compare them would be nice. I think that it might be helpful to just work with my top 15 or 20 best trips of the year, maybe even the top 15- 20 worst trips, and see if i can find any correlations, but what do you guys think? I'm currently working on making formulas in excel to calculate wind direction by points per hour. I think I will just get an average of each general wind direction....kinda like the moon phase data I presented earlier. Points Per Hour Per Wind Direction. Once again this will take some time....should have it up later tonight or tomorrow morning.

The drop in relative humidity on 4-20 doesn't mean that the humidity was 0%....instead it means that there was no data available for that time. Sorry about that.

Here's the wind data. It was quite surprising to say the least. So the saying goes, "Wind from the west fish bite best, wind from the south blows bait in their mouth. Wind from the north don't go forth, and wind from the east fish bite least." Or something like that. So one would assume that you would experience the best fishing with wind from the west, then south, north, and then the worst wind would be east.
Here's what 101 trips and 671 hours of fishing this year has produced.
East: 7 trips: 55.5 Hours: 76.5 Points= 1.378 Points Per Hour
North: 25 Trips: 177.5 Hours: 462 Points= 2.602 Points Per Hour
South: 40 Trips: 273.5 Hours: 273.5 Points= 1.1901 Points Per Hour
West: 18 Trips: 94 Hours: 48.5 Points= .5159 Points Per Hour
NO WIND: 11 Trips: 70.5 Hours: 81.5 Points= 1.156 Points Per Hour
Wasn't quite expecting that. It looks like northerly winds were best, followed by easterly winds, southerly winds, no winds, and then west winds. Respectively.

Thanks Kip. The years not over yet. ;D I'd still like to land a really nice blue from the Ohio River. We talked to a few gentlemen who landed quite a few blues in January last year out of the meldahl pool. Its not probable that I will but its possible if I try hard enough. At least thats what I tell myself. Once the river gets back down to a reasonable level, which won't be this weekend, I'll go searching for them. Probably just go crappie fishing this weekend.

Awesome info. man! It will get interesting for ya for sure after a few seasons to compare year to year and conditions your keeping. I have kept logs, and you will see certain things that start falling in place year to year with the conditions and seasons for sure! Goodluck in your chase! rollo
