Never even considered that Robbie...I would imagine 99% of the time there isn't much advantage but when ya hook that 60+ it prolly makes you feel a lot better...I know while fighting a decent fish I always am worried about my knots...I've had some hooks have burs in the eyelets in the past that has knicked up my monofilament line causing it to fail at the knot...anyone ever run into that?

Yep it happens every now and then sometimes you just get a bad batch. Swivels can have those burs as well. Just file them off if you can, toss em if you cant. I have seen many posts regarding the very same burs your mentioning. I think Robby and or Mike M. mentioned it a while back now that I think of it.
