yea the kalex has the same function. i like it because when you crank down on a fish you back the drag off to exactly where you had it before. especially with circles i like it be cause i like the drag to slip a bit in case its a big boy. so i can back the drag off or increase it at intrevals.
i dont have a tekota i also have the kalex. i actually use the kalexs with power handles as boat rods just like a 6500 and would not be nervous at all to hook up with a good flathead on it, seems like a real solid reel.

Ok thanksI for the clairification. I thought for a second that the clicker was adjustable. I agree, its a great reel. I use it to drift floats with in small streams and on the ohio. Its light weight and and casts great and has a decent drag. its easy to cast again and again.
