Ill give my tips.. Let it be known i know very little about fishing.. Only been fishing for about a year and a half...
My normal fishing spots are a 10 or 15 min boat ride at around 45mph .. In the summer time its a nice little jog. In the winter its just too cold for the long ride. So i fish about 2 miles up river in a cut through.
I buy a case of zote soap.. And cut it into small pieces. And i chum the area i fish every day im fishing. Which is usually friday saturday and sunday..The first week or two fishing is slow . But picks up.And i usually fish a size smaller hook.
This summer i chummed that area about once a money. And never fished it. I aint made it there in the cold yet to see if there still around. But when i get the time to get to fishing I will most likely be fishing there the rest of the year..
