Way out there I know. Ever since I bypassed my security system in my car, my radio quit working. So for the last couple weeks I have been driving with no music. Tonight I started to study for my Spanish exam and was re-introduced into my old music collection. I have been missing out.
If your willing, what bands have you been listening to lately? Favorite band? Which ever.
My mood changes a lot and so does my music taste, but a few bands have stuck with me through the thick and thin. The rap and hip hop music in high school, the oldies during my first year of college, punk 2nd year of college (roommate initiated), and so on...So i have listened to it all. But the bands I keep reverting to are:
1.) Pink Floyd 2.) Tool 3.) Audioslave 4.) Dream Theater 5.) Led Zeppelin 6.) The Glitch Mob 7.) Rise Against 8.) Soundgarden 9.) Chevelle 10.) Iron Maiden
Ok....So after I thought about it I couldn't decide on just 3 or 4....so here's 10 in kinda order from most listened to... to least listened to.
What do you guys listen to?

I am an old headbanger from the Late 80s. But in December Avenged Sevenfold was coming to town so the local radio was playing them a lot for promotion of the show. I was unable to go to the show but have pretty much been listening to Avenged for the last month.

I was unable to go to the show but have pretty much been listening to Avenged for the last month. I've followed them for a while now, never my favorite band but I do like the mainstream stuff. IE the stuff they play on the radio. Their first couple albums where pretty intense vocally, and then the vocalist blew his chords. Then he got a little softer.....that's the stuff I prefer. The new album sounds pretty good, I got really excited when they picked up Mike Portnoy the drummer from Dream Theater fall of 2010...didn't work out though. Kip, I knew all but one of your artists. Jamey Johnson. I'm guessing its a country artist. Definitely some good music. My dad used to listen to Coe, Good ole southern boy. Wouldn't put the ipod on shuffle and play him in Cincinnati though.

I will literally listen to anything from Hank senior clear up to common rock bands like you guys are speaking of....think I'm gonna side with Kip here..I'm a huge fan of David Allan coe and the offspring...Hank Jr and SR... I saw acdc in person on their black ice tour with my old man...one amazing show! And I'm not ashamed to admit I'm a big fan of bluegrass...I actually used to have a banjo and could play the song from deliverence. Lol!

I listen to Octane on XM radio, and most of my oldies. but nothing gets the fishing biting like Kid Rock. I'm serious they love it. But when out fishing there is nothing like putting on some Hank Jr, Hagger, and Waylon to get the mood right.
