I usually regard March as too late to fish the James along with the risk of getting blown off the river.
With that being said, I caught fish in March and last year Bob Nash got an 84 since he and his son fish his birthday each year.

Nov, March, and early April are my favorite months/best months of the year to fish/catch the big boys on the James. Congrats and have a great trip.  |
