Looking to hear your guys thoughts on next season. Different things your gonna try, new techniques, goals, etc. I know I'm going to get out and scout more early season. Gonna try to hit a few bigger cat tourneys and even hit some lakes this year. I got a late start this past spring due to high water but that's not going to stop me this year. I'm going to target some bigger water this year also, southern Muskingum and the Ohio river. I'm breaking the 50# mark this year on flatheads.

I'm the opposite kip. I'd like to get out and fish smaller rivers and tributaries more, and focus less on lakes. I'm going to try and not fish too much too early, and get burnt out like i did this year. Don't really plan on breaking the flathead pb of 32, but it wouldn't hurt. I'd like to set a goal of catching 30 flatheads next year. I'd still also like to bump up the pb channel into the mid teens as well.

I plan on having a great year. I would like to come up on a river flathead trip and fish with the freaks. Entering atleast two major events on my home waters. I'm starting a log to figure out this cold front thing. Everytime I go there is a pressure change gotta figure it out. PB's will come and you can't gettem in these forums, Planning on being on the water more than on the internet.

I am a mix of kip and sean. i am scouting and finding potential spots on lakes and rivers starting now with google earth and check them out ahead of time. I am also going to switch the waters up a little more this year and not just fish spots because they are convenient or because i have caught fish there in the past. i am going to rotate better and travel more. I am actually planning on starting to fish in march this year, so that even if i am not on fish i can get used to fishing new spots and getting used to the lay of the land above and under water. I want to break 50 wheteher it be flat or blue. preferably flat but i will take a 50+ blue anyday.

Thinking I just would like to have more time on the water and less time at work...I'm not greedy I could care less from there...but breaking into the 40's finally obviously wouldn't disappoint me!

To fish more than I got to this year for a start! Busta 50 plus pound flat, and a blue bigger than my 72. If that doesn't happen, thats fine with me. Hopefully put some people on some more big fish. I love catching, but really enjoy seeing others catch good ones as well! rollo
