I'm not sure of that, it's been several years since I have fished for them but if my failing memory serves me right this is the timeframe that I used to catch them at Dillon Falls and the Wills Creek dam. Hope this helps.

That's the stuff legends are made of. All kidding aside thanks for all the help and advice you have given us, you are a class act without a doubt.

I fished that tourney as well and heard the story, I also remember watching Luckey pull into the boat ramp drop off the Mrs. and say I'll be back and fly back up river, a short while later he pulls in with Rollo, and Rollo and partners tournament winning catch just in time for the weigh in. A class act in my book, but my brother and cousin didn't like it as it knocked them into second place. LOL

Smallmouth for fun and bait, Walleye/Saugeye for fun and food. And I'm with Jason Bluegill for bait.

What types of fishing knots do you use? I like using the palomar knot to tie leaders, circle hooks, and for braided line. It is very strong and easy to tie (even in the dark). I like the snell for straight or octopus hooks because I feel it creates a better hookset. I have also added the following link that describes and animates several fishing knots. www.animatedknots.com/indexfishing.php

I like them for bait on the Muskingum, during the spring run is a great time to use them for flats.
