I made this Pay Out Sheet. I thought some of you guys who would like to throw local tournys would enjoy this. This is in Excel and the payout is 1 in 7. Only change the pot and percentages in yellow changing anything else will mess up the formula. Please review and see any mistakes I may have made please let me know. Attachments:

Thanks man...I can respect anything done in excel...I took a computer class in college and have hated excel ever since! Way too complex for me...I wont ever use it enough to get the hang of it...lol

Has anyone found any mistakes. I have looked it over many times but two sets of eyes would help. If I throw a tourny, I'd hate to get my @$$ wooped over money. I went with 100 plus boats because I want to hold the A Mega Tourny on the Tennessee River one day and This would be a hell of a fun weekend. Maybe this sport will come to that one day.

All of the formulas look ok. It looks like you have build a safety net by making a total cell.....ie if it was off your total would not = 100%. I wouldn't bet a butt whooping over it though. Lol You could always check by doing a hand calculation by randomly selecting a scenario. Lets say 5th place when there are 35 boats....something like that.
