Sinker Gathering!

Just wanted to invite all the Catfish Freaks members out to my house on March 17, 2012 for a whole day of making sinkers and sharing stories. For those of you who know me and have been to one of my gatherings know that it's a blast! I do have a rule of no small children here due to the exposure of hot molten lead and don't want any accidents to happen. So feel free to chime in and let me know if you can make it for sure. So I can get an idea of how many will be attending.

We normally start around 9am and run all day long and into the night. I'm sure Mike and Jason can attest to that. We will have lunch and dinner depending on how long people are here for. I normally cook up hamburgers and such on the grill. So with that note, I ask for whoever is coming please post what you can bring to help out in the food and drinks area.

I'll keep a listing as we go, also if you can bring lead and know about how much, that's appreciated as well. For those of ya that want to come but don't have any lead is still very welcome, there will be enough lead here that you can buy some while you're here or we can just sell ya some sinkers outright at a great discounted price!

So start chiming in and let me know what you're bringing so I'll know what we need others to bring.

Right now Ill be able to be there, checked with the boss and we have no plans for that day LOL that I know of. I can bring plastic utensils or paper plates. And dont forget to bring the pole out Johnny watching straddle that thing is probably the funniest part.

I wanted to add Ill bring a bunch of sinkers that I dont use (like bank) and trade for the wheel or pyramids.

My son and I should be able to make it. I have a couple of egg sinker and walking sinker molds. Also have some lead, it is old wheel weights. Will bring some pop, bread and hamburger.

Been to 2 of the gathering and had a blast sharing good times with everyone. Hoping to make it down for this one. Will be good to see everyone again. Since I've been out of the scene and haven't fished the last 2 years.
