Has anyone ever used these. A friend of mine uses these and swears by them. Let me here what ya'll think. Bottom Dwellers don't have them on their inventory. They are lever drag systems with 33 lbs of drag. They are suppost to be the stuff for Big Blues.
TR2000LD Right 4.2:1 14/330 Ball Bearings: 4 Max Drag: 33 Lbs. Recovery: 26.0" Braid Capacity: 40/410

After using the Tekotas or even the Penn Phathoms id say them are the way to go for big fish! I love the Tekota reels but after using the Penns im second guessing myself! LOL!

Shimano makes some great reels, and the Charter Special is one of them. I wouldn't want to use them much above 20-25# of drag though. I can go into more detail if needed.I didn't do all that well casting the one I tried. Maybe it needed some tweeking. It's hard to find a lever drag that will put out that much in a catfish sized reel without failing. I can recommend some if you want.
