 Here's a picture of a yellow, grey, and black from left to right. I've heard of dog peckers (spikes), blacks, yellows, and greys. They come up in that order as well. Never heard of a white morel, sure your eating the right shrooms lucky? About that time. Is it better in march or April? I heard right now most are small and not very easy to find right now.

usually we dont start finding them till april. This year ive heard there already finding them down south. Were gonna be a few weeks early here too. I usually find blacks first then grays then the yellows are the last ones. I used to have some real good spots for blacks and grays but property has been sold and whatnot. I have a couple yellow spots that usually produce well. i just by the portabella caps from the store and fry them up. Just as good as a shroom i think.

My Grandpa found the biggest Morel I ever saw, we had one helluva a time loading it on the station wagon! LMFAO! ;D  Attachments:
