well i got home last night and my fishing buddy matt (sharpy22) stopped over and gave me a new reel he bought for me as a thanks for taking care of some stuff for him, its a brand new abu 6500 chrome rocket, i have been wanting one for a while, my deepest thanks go out to him, now i told the wife i have to buy another and 2 new rods cuz you gotta have a pair  ill let ya know how that one goes over, prolly like a fart in church lol Attachments:

it will get a few tests this year im hoping lol, i have been looking for a used one on ebay for over 2 years and have never seen one, that to me means who ever has them must like em, i will let you know how it goes, hope to get out next weekend and try it out

A friend and fishing partner of mine has one of the crome rockets. It is a horse of a reel it will get the job done regardless of what is on the other end. They have a smooth cast and a smooth drag. When I was shopping for my Records I had a lot of secound thoughts because of the Crome Rockets. A choise reel among the tops on the market.
