To some of you reading this it might seem alittle foolish. Here is why I decided to tell you alittle bit about myself. I have been a member of afew forums... some since the beginning. I have always tried to respond to posts in a friendly respecting manner and at times... I have joked and poked fun... at other members expense. I even got a warning from a fella once when it seemed I crossed a boundary... (being part of a forum is not the same as being someones friend who you have a relationship with he said.) This is a true statement that I cannot argue with. I consider everyone I have met on forums and chatted with and shared post with to be friends of mine wether I have met them in person... fished with them or not. So here is alittle bit about myself you don't know to help get past that comment.
I was Born in February of the year 1960 In Castro Valley California. Castro valley is located on the East side of the San Franscisco Bay. My childhood years were spent fishing and hunting and anything that had to do with the outdoors and bikes.
At 16 I got hooked on fishing the ocean... and at 17 I got a job as a deckhand on a partyboat where I fished everyday for almost 3 years.
In 1981 I turned 21 in Bootcamp in San Diego, California. I was stationed in Anacostia Naval District Wash D.C and was assigned to the Firing Party where I called 18 and 21 gun salutes for militay, simple and full honor funerals at Arlington and other cemetarys around the country. In 1982 I married my wife of almost 30 years. In 1984 I was assigned to the USS Carl Vinson CVN 70 out of Alameda California where I spent 4 years sailing the 7 seas and visiting countries I will probably never see again. I moved to Virginia after leaving the Navy in 1987 and I now reside in Manassas, VA. Me and my wife raised 2 beautiful smart daughters. I still love to this day all my favorite hobbies and I persue them as often as I can. I am a Christian and will help out anyone who askes for it. The rest of me is yet to be written but I am sure it will be fun reading for sure So now that you know me you can call me your friend if you choose to. ... We decided from day one ...From the get "go" we weren't gonna tolerate any B/S. Period! And we are trying to keep it that way. We do want a "family" based site here. Thats the goal!
