Anyone have any experience with installing permanent plumbing for a removable livewell. What I am after is a way to plump the fill pump and a drain into an area of the boat, say the wall to the front deck. Then I can set another large livewell into the boat and simply make two hose connections. Anyone ever attempt this or have any info on doing it? I have found some couplings (Banjo and Gator couplings) that can make it work but I am looking for a better option than I have found so far. Right now I am looking at using a couple bulkhead fittings in the front deck wall and using the cam lock couplings to make the connection when needed. This tank is just for that once in a while when I need a 100 plus gallon tank for select tournaments. Most of the time my built in 50 gal tank will do. This is why I need to make the plumbing quick disconnect. I already have a fill pump and drain line from the transom that I can use. If it wasn't for that I would just fill and drain from over the side of the boat.
Thanks for any input. David

Dave, these are Hanson Coupling Inc . quick dissconnects, we use these in our plant for all our air fittings and sometimes water. I'm not sure if they come in stainless, but they do last a good while before they start corroding and need changed. As you can see they do come in thearded and hose barb style fittings. Hope this helps bro. Attachments:
