Hopefully I am moving toward better fish.
Kayla and her friend Brandi fished with me last night
and it was Brandi's first time.



Brandi landed this 35 on an Abu 6500 set out with cut bait for channel cats!

Later Kayla got a 45 on the larger tackle. It pulled
the little boat around about 10 minutes but finally
submitted.



The rain held off and a good time was had by all ;D

I guess the best time to end a dry spell is when someone new
to flathead fishing is along. I did try to tell Brandi that
these results are not typical and it may be a while before
I repeat them.
