anyone have any experience with the driftmaster extended shaft rod holders. i have a spot on my boat where they would be a better option but i was just wondering if they are strong with the 10in extension or if the get a little flimsy

I have been running the 10" shafts since late 2006 on my current boat. Long before we started selling them. Big fish, hanging the boat up while drifting, and even a 300+ lb friend of mine falling off the dock onto one of them, haven't been able to bend them yet. I am still looking for that fish big enough though.  ;DLOL |

thanks dave. you might see an order coming through. i have a possible solution to use the ones i have, but need to wait until daylight to see if its gonna pan out
