The water cooled a bit and I found a flathead I liked. This big boy was 62. Sorry about pix but it was a bit foggy. Got a release video for you to see later.

Chad I was tired all over. That fish had a bad attitude and fought me at every attempt to handle him.
On top of that it was foggy and it took forever for the camera to focus. I saturated the photo to clear the fog and it looks like the fish is bleeding. Anyway I ended up more scuffed up than the fish and I was getting winded trying to hold him for long periods while the camera focussed.
He seemed fine as he swam away and I may see him again when he is in a better mood.

Rollo you can't believe what those fat girls around Barnesville say about me!! That big male had the really bad attitude I normally see only around the spawn. He was almost impossible to handle without losing some hide. I showered when I got home and discovered lots of new bruises. I rarely wear a glove but his weight and attitude made it necessary. I did get bruises through that glove also. A couple of the flathead boyz here insist my fish Ohio bluegills are too large for bait but that boy had it and swimming away in a flash. I weighed him in the sling but even then the scale was bouncing between 62 and 63. He is a survivor and I hope to catch him again.

Rollo I used the 14 footer to follow the fish a while. After I got him in the landing net, I kept thinking the net was caught on something as I tried to bring him over the side. The depth of the landing net and the weight of the fish were what made it difficult to haul it aboard. ;D
