I've been through many different types of suits. I like the Carhartt pants Randy gave me but haven't been in any serious Down pours. I think the breathable are nice but don't hold up I'n a monsoon and the PVC is to damn hot.

An industrial 50 gallon garbage bag makes a good rain suit, or tent. Lol. I usually keep one or two in the car, we end up using them more than our rain gear. Most of the time the rain comes unexpectedly, when our gear is still at the house.
What type of frogg togg suits do you use? Seems like i have seen some really high dollar suits and i have seen some pretty reasonable suits and i am curious if the cheaper suits are worth the money?

Columbia makes some nice light weight rain gear. Catch it on sale and buy it pretty cheap.

In Fl it's to hot to wear rain gear so I use 3M Scotchgard on a long sleeved shirt, jeans and boots. I keep the treated outfit stored and change into it if needed works great.

Frogg Toggs has a few different types that are nice. I have the mid-range jacket I think it was $25, and I normally just wear waders or Carhart bibs with it. Works fine not too thin or too thick. The Toadz look really nice but are a little more expensive, I think like $70 for jacket and $40 for the bibs at Gander.

I got the Toadz Bibs and Jacket. I used to go through 3 or 4 cheap suits a year. That is something that it pays to spend a little more I think.
