just wondering if anyone else on here has ever made a homade sinker mold ? ive done a few made using a 2x4 and a hole saw but im trying to come up with a good way to make a 14-16 oz sinker and have a swivel in it to attach to the slide snap just wondering if anyone has any input or pictures if they have ever done anything like this i would love to hear your input

oh i know they make a blank molds kip ive made sinkers out of wood molds before but i have not done it in a couple years and ive made sand olds that worked suprisingly well , have you ever seen how much it cost to get one machined ! lol shope around here are starting out at $120 an hour lol no thanks i think im going to use a dremel and make a wooden do it mold type setup they may not be exactley like whats on the market but im going to try if i can carve something out and get a swivele in for and eye i think i will be on the right track as long as they hold the bottom and dont roll is all that matters to me

Ive heard you can use spoons to make them yea ive done that as well and used the bottom of a soda can the soda can works suprisingly well it will make a sinker about 4-5 oz just kinda hard to make a hole in it for a swivele to go into we just used a drill and drilled on the inside alot easier just buying a mold but its pretty fun if i can make one out of a couple blocks of wood i will try and make a video to post up
