My name is Bill.I'm 62 years old.I live about 45 minutes from Lake Oahe,a Missouri River Reservior here in South Dakota.I'm new to catfish fishing.Lake Oahe has a high channel catfish population that basically goes unfished.My wife Lucy is my fishing partner.We have just started fishing for catfish late last summer.We normally walleye fish.We got into channel cats a few times up in shallow water late last summer and had a ball.The fishing was hot and heavy,it was bite after bite.Most of the fish ran 2 to 6 pounds.Man do they fight in shallow water on light tackle.I have a new Alumacraft 16 ft Navigator with a 75 hp Yamaha 4 stroke.Bow mounted trolling motor and a Humminbird 898 depth finder.Bill
