Some of the great lakes have sturgeon. A little while ago the ohio department of agriculture stocked a few sturgeon in the scioto river, in their report they stated that they radiotagged them.....but thats the last i heard of that. Doesnt kentucky have a good population of them?

I know there are sturgeon in the lower section of the West Fork of White River - seen them caught here, all along the Wabash, and in parts of the Ohio. You can find some DNR studies on them by going to Google and entering Sturgeon Indiana. They are pdf files or I would send you a link. The report I glanced at looked like rather dry reading, but you may find some info you find helpful.

I have read a lot on the bnr sites and most of them are dry! I fish the upper side of the west fork. And haven't had any luck so far. But I can say the Wabash is pretty good. Land two river sturgeon the weekend. Back to the upper west fork there's a store of a small lake sturgeon being caught at one of my old spots, so that are out there.
