Wanting the get the girlfriend a new flathead setup this year that's more pink and girly. She can run baitcasters but prefers spinning reels and I don't know much about spinning reels. Any suggestions on pink gear? Rods, reels, line, etc.

That rod looks nice. The 1 piece only comes in a Medium action though and I'd rather get her something a little more stiff. But on the other hand if it's Medium action then she can use it more often like when we're targeting channel cats. She has all different size rigs now just nothing pink. Does the shipping cost change with multiple rods or is that the price per rod? I might get a rod or two myself.

I believe you can ship 6 rods at a time for one shipping price.

It will charge you shipping for each model but we will refund back the overcharge or would be happy to send an invoice in you contact up with a list of items. Just going to throw some more options out at you here. I have a girlfriend that fishes quite a bit and for a while she wanted pink stuff too. I explained to her that most stuff painted pink just isnt up to our fishing standards...and that your paying more for the pink paint.

With that said, have you ever thought of getting a reel and rod painted. I was going to have amandas abu garcia 7000hsn's painted pink by having the hydrographically dipped. Its a process of charging metal and dipping it into paint. Its supposed to last a lot longer than other methods. You can also do this with rods. I was told that he would do 2 reels and 2 rods in pink and black for less than 150. The guy we talked to lived in winchester ohio. If you interested i can send you his number.

That way you get what you want rather than buying whats already manufactured in pink. Just an option.

I'll definitely be getting a few rods here soon Dave a cpl of my buddies are thinking of getting a few as well so I'll be in touch. Sean, I actually painted her one last year. It's not the best rod but works good for channels and smaller flats. I taped it off and spray painted it and put a thin layer of clear coat over it and it turned out good. My buddy had his bow dipped last year and it turned out good so I'm sure the guy would dip rods too.

I showed her pics of a few pink rods and of course now she wants a reel to match. I found a few pics of pink side plates that I could buy for an ambassadeur which would be nice but I can't actually find a place to buy them. I think I'm going to make her stick with baitcasters for the big fish.

I also saw that FINS makes a pink briaded line. It looks pretty nice and has a lot of good reviews online. Sean I wouldn't show the gf unless you plan on buying her some it's a little on the high side.
