Anybody heading out last day? Snow flurries all weekend. I hunt public land and got 3 does this year but haven't seen much since gun season. I had a big 10pt in the area all early season but never saw him again once rut kicked in. I don't know if someone else got him or if he just rutted somewhere else. Maybe I'll get lucky and he'll return the last weekend. Good luck whoever's going out!

I never did any hunting this year. Just never had the drive and spent a lot of autumn nights on the river.

Yea Kip I think I'm going to try to make a few fall fishing trips this year. Hunting public makes early bow season our best chance to get deer so we always hunt and never end up doing any fishing. Seems like fall is a hot time for flatheads for most people.
