As the title says I am looking to trade my old boat, a 14' modified v, trailer, 9.9 mercury 2003 short shaft 2 stroke outboard, and 35lb thrust trolling motor, for a 20hp to 50hp outboard with tiller handle. I'm in the process of obtaining financing for a new 17' aluminum boat and trailer. I plan on putting my 9.9hp on it unless I can find someone willing to make a trade. When the financing comes through....probably tomorrow, I'll be willing to trade.
The boat has a roll on bed liner on the exterior, it was sanded smooth to reduce drag, but is still thick. We thought we were going to be taking it in more shallow spots, but we never did. It has wires run to a control pannel for the navigation and bow lights, a 500gallon per hour bilge, as well as a fish finder....however I will not be trading my fish finder. Here are some pics from last spring, it has worn a little since then.
The trailer has ez slides on it to help with shallow boat launching. I recently put in new wheel bearings....seen here.

Heres the control center.
I bought the motor off legendkiller on here, without a cover. It appeared that it had been dropped and the cover had been damaged. So I made a new fiberglass cover to keep water off. Its not perfect but it gets the job done.
Heres a link to how I made the cover, with lots of pictures. esbfishing.blogspot.com/2012/12/building-fiberglass-outboard-cowl.html
The motor will push the boat in excess of 20mph with one person....fast enough to make you nervous. It may need a hydrofoil to keep the nose down, but if you put a battery up front it will help a little.
The boat has had many holes drilled in it to mount rod holders, etc. that will be left as is, unless its a deal breaker than I'll patch the holes with jb weld water putty. I'm willing to work with you if your willing to work with me. My 9.9 is in excellent running condition and I would like to get a larger motor as reliable.
Thanks,
Sean
