I've always heard to use night crawlers after storms but don't know if there's any truth to that. Sometimes I throw a night crawler on the hook with a piece of cut bait and I've always had success with it, but I don't know if it has anything to do with storms.

Cold fronts are tough! I down size baits and target deeper water. I've had success this way but I've also been skunked many nights during this period also!

When I use to tournament fish and had a coldfront move in I would do like kip said and downsize bait, also bridges can be GREAT! When fish are in shallow bays and a cold front comes in they tend to stack under bridges in the channel . Which is the closest deep water

The weather forecast is looking pretty good this week! Also I live about a mile from alum creek and have some pretty good spots north of the 36 bridge.
