Just want to introduce myself. I am a big time hunter and fisherman from central ohio. Im 19 yrs old about to be 20 next week. I fish for a bunch of different species but have become a huge cat fishing fan in the past couple years. Im a skilled camera man and I film most of my hunting and fishing experiences to share with everyone. I like to learn as much as I can about the outdoors and am looking to find some good tips and info for catfish. My bait of choice right now is chicken breast soaked in fruit punch, seems to do the trick most of the time. I fish from both boat and shore. I also like jugging for them sometimes. I fish for mostly channel cats but really want to find some flatheads or blues. Never caught a huge flathead but I'm hoping to pull in a few lunkers this year! There is a lot of different opinions on things like jugging and trot lines and the sort. A lot of the fishermen here have had bad experiences with people who use alternative methods. It is a sore topic. Doesnt mean everyone who does it is not responsible or unethical, but it has left a bad taste in a lot of mouths. |

Dont get me wrong though, I like catching them with rod and reel the most without a doubt.
