As you all know we are finally getting some good temps all across the country. Water temps should be going up, fish will be getting more active. Will this make a big difference on the fishing right away? It's going to be 70+ for the next 3 days here in central ohio and I'm planning on going out Friday evening so hopefully they will start feeding pretty good.

I'm not sure of the prime water temp but 70➕ rain free days won't hurt any. Good luck friday

Thanks bigdant. And Unfortunately I do not know where to catch any flatheads right now, but I will be fishing for channels in 6-12 feet of water off of my favorite dock house in apple valley lake.

i agree 100% massey, we do about 90% of our channel catfishing during the day early morning. or early evening when a cold front is going through and it starts cooling down when the sun is going down
we still pick them up at night too while fishing for flatheads we just dont target them at night very much anymore
