I can't figure this lake out... I saw my brothers biggest channel and my biggest lake channel on this lake but I really have any small fish luck and I never do much overall good... I can't figure this lake out... Their is soo much bait and plenty of spots to spawn... Where are the little channels... And all the flatheads... I have had the best lake runs off flatheads off this lake, but they always drop it... And I have really fished this lake hard the last 2 years... I just can't find any consistency... This lake is just weird and their is hardly any shore access... Any advice on this crazy lake which in the past was said to hold flatheads the size of Voltswagons.... And this is a Muskingum watershed lake, so why aren't their more people fishing this lake

most people don't fish it because of the boat traffic, its bad even at night, as far as finding fish you almost need a boat, they had a channel tourney up there a few years ago, had big weights but no one wanted to fish it again because of the party boats, if you can get a boat and go during the week is your best bet, we went once on a cool rainy night, caught a bunch of channels all over 3lbs

Well it's the closest lake to me... And I know it holds some monster fish, just need hook up to one... I think this lake has great potential and I think the next state record will come out of a lake like this... Where it is a muskingum watershed lake and is not fished hard for flatheads... The only thing I can think of that is making me not get fish is the facti go out when I can and not when the conditions are right.... And I really need to get a boat so I can start catching some numbers of fish

Oh yea Mikey I wasnt bashing the lake at all. there are giants in there for sure and like you said very little pressure. if its the closest to you once you learn the lake you will get on them and start being able to pattern them. just getting out and trying give you a much better chance at a good flathead then all the guys at home on their asses, I can promise you that.

I heard about those two fish... And Knox lake had one 42 pulled off it... It seems like all the lakes around me are starting to produce some nice flatheads... I never used to hear about this many fish... Before I may hear about one a year, late year
